Welcome to Island Florals!

I followed my heart to Maines’ North Haven island, where my man grows oysters on a scenic tidal inlet farm, and my son lives is dream on a nearby island. A farmer of 25 years, I recently departed from my farm in Belgrade Lakes where I grew food and flowers for my community while raising my three children. I’ve found a wonderful community here on north haven island, where I can live a quieter, simpler life surrounded by beauty.

Daily I’m inspired by sunsets, unfurling fiddleheads, and the new life contained in pinecones. From old English gardens and everything natural found in these magical spruce forests, beauty inspires and surrounds me. My new home is a small piece of heaven where I also grow the flowers for my wedding couples, using organic and sustainable practices.

A designer of 35 years, my creations have a distinct feel of the natural world! From my island home I wild harvest vines, berries, grasses, and mosses: each deliberately placed giving the feeling that it belongs there. In addition to growing many of the flowers used in my wedding work, I also source from local mainland flower farms.
